Effective date: July 2026
You are asked to accept these terms, and to confirm that you are physically in Ontario, before every virtual consultation. They sit alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
A virtual consultation is a live video or voice visit with a licensed pharmacist at the partner pharmacy you selected. The pharmacist assesses your minor ailment and, where clinically appropriate and within their scope of practice, may prescribe treatment. The pharmacy — not Curalia — provides your care and keeps your clinical record.
The pharmacist will verify your identity and your physical Ontario health card with you on the call. Curalia never stores your full health-card number — only a masked form (the last 3 digits). Please have your card with you.
You choose what to share. Disclosing your current medications, allergies, and relevant history is optional — but if you choose not to share it, the pharmacist’s ability to check for drug interactions and other safety issues is limited, and they may decline to prescribe. The more accurate and complete your information, the safer your care.
If the pharmacist decides your condition is outside the scope of a virtual minor-ailment visit — or needs an in-person exam, a physician, or urgent care — they will tell you and direct you to the right place. Follow that advice.
Consultations are not recorded. Calls run on Curalia’s own Canadian servers, media never leaves Canada, and neither Curalia nor the pharmacy makes a recording of your call. You also agree not to record the call without everyone’s consent and as permitted by law. The pharmacist documents the visit in the pharmacy’s clinical record, as required by their college.
Video calls depend on your device and connection. If a call drops or quality prevents a safe assessment, the pharmacist may ask to rebook or refer you in person. Do not delay needed care because of a technical problem.
By accepting, you confirm that:
